Hi there! My name is Sherill.

When I was ten years old I tried contacting a vanity publisher in the hopes that they would sell a  book of mine that wasn’t even finished yet. Now at twenty-five years old, I am attending college for an Honours Bachelors of Creative Writing & Publishing. After years of spending my post-secondary education in pursuit of what others thought I should do, in 2022 I finally took the leap and signed up a few weeks before the deadline.

My love for writing started in 5th grade literacy class when we were asked to write a short story about anything. I wrote a bad story that was a clear knock-off of Halloween Town, but more or less was the catalyst for what started my love of writing. Later on, I asked my father to set up a word doc for me to write in on our old basement computer. There I wrote a baby-sitters club esk novella about some friends that were just hanging out. There was barely a plot, but it was still fun! 

Now, I work in a bookstore where I am constantly surrounded by books and the people who love them! My first loves has and always will be writing and reading. These days I -to the best of my ability- am doing all of the things that will one day lead to me being published.
